Trujillo's education at California State University Los Angeles shaped his intellectual approach, where he often draws from literature and philosophy. His exhibition Solo-Retro (Gnosis) explores spiritual truth and knowledge, featuring bright colors, masks, and symbolic juxtapositions. Through deformed and expressive figures, Trujillo's art examines human consciousness and the tension between intellect and emotion.
