This realistic CAST of the Cranium from the "Cat-like" Nimravid Hoplophoneus dakotensis is a wonderful representation of the fossil by Bone Clones, Inc. renowned for the superb replicas they produce. Similar to a Saber-Toothed Cat, this animal was found in South Dakota, and the remnant shows a fatal bite wound across the frontals. The Babiarz Institute of Paleontological Studies provided the specimen for this cast. The replica upper is quite sizable at well over 10 inches (25 cm) and displays a "dirty" yellowish coloration.
