Signed, dated, and titled in pencil along lower edge

Created for the Federal Art Project in San Francisco. Depicts the legend of Theseus, Ariadne, and the Minotaur. Included in "California Art Today" at the Golden Gate International Exhibition, the world's fair in SF 1939-1940. Also in "Frontiers of American Art" at the de Young Museum, 1939.
