A JAPANESE TAISHO PERIOD KUTANI PORCELAIN BOXED TEA SERVICE
Maker unknown, c.1915

The group comprising a fabric-upholstered hinged box, the lid opening to reveal a fitted interior with six cups and saucers, covered tea pot, sugar, and creamer, the obverse of each piece decorated with two women and child, the underside of each piece with a 'Da Nippon' (Japan) and 'Fu' (Good Fortune) character mark
The case: 5.5in. high, 18.5in. wide, 15in. deep
