This is a preliminary drawing for a July 1943 calendar image. Note that the pose in this preliminary is identical to the finished, printed illustration image.

An inscription reads: "This are the outlines of the pin-ups I used to work nights for the G. I.'s plus a prints, a print as a guide."

Caption on the finished, printed calendar illustration: "July's a patriotic month and you will agree -- whoever dreamed this suit took a lot of liberty."
