ASTER LIVE STEAM SCALE MODEL LNER A3 'FLYING SCOTSMAN' AND TENDER
5 x 27-1/4 x 3-1/4 inches (12.6 x 68.7 x 9.2 cm)
Finely engineered Aster 1.32 scale gauge 1 operational model of the 4-6-2 A3 Class Pacific No. 4472 'Flying Scotsman', the most beloved and respected of all British express locomotives introduced in 1924 and mostly active between London's Kings Cross station and Edinburgh. Model has 3 cylinder engine with 2 working safety valves, pressure and water gauges, regulator, blower valve, filler plug and superheater. Presented in custom display case and finished in the classic apple green livery of the London & North Eastern Railway.
