Private Collection, Long Island, New York.
This cream and sugar, with their exceptional cloisonné work depicting Chinoiserie-inspired waterfowl and fauna are of the same model as an Imperial tea set which has long been regarded as one of the greatest works of the House of Ovchinnikov, and which was sold in these rooms as a part of Masterpieces of Russian Enamel from an Important American Collection, December 16, 2024, lot 82078. There is another service, near identical, but without a box in the collection of the Walters Art Gallery (Acc. No. 44.751).
