This service, called the "Everyday service with the Arms and Gilt Rims" was originally commissioned in 1820 by Alexander I (1801-1825) for use at Gatchina Palace, and the service was expanded between 1825 and 1913. Examples of this service may be seen in the exhibition catalog: Iz Serviznykh Kladovykh: Ubranstvo russkogo imperatorskogo stola XVIII - Nachala XX Veka State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, 2016, p. 313.
