Gracefully preserved in stone, this hauntingly beautiful Brittle Star fossil reveals the delicate form of an ancient sea creature frozen in perfect repose. Slender arms extend from the central disc like spectral traces, their fine contours captured in extraordinary detail. The surrounding matrix seems to flow in harmony with each curve, accentuating the rhythmic sweep of the arms and creating a composition as artful as it is natural.
