This light caramel-colored piece of Baltic Amber, or fossilized tree resin, houses a pristine spider. This is a nice piece weighing 1 gram and presents an inhabitant that is extremely well-preserved in fine detail, which is evident under magnification. The tiny hairs on the legs and abdomen, along with the spinnerets, are visible. Even without magnification, this fantastic arachnid specimen is the star within its Amber tomb.
