This glorious Ammonite of the Argonauticeras variety dates to the Early Cretaceous and was found in Madagascar. The fossil is a study in contrasts as one of its polished sides features serious texture and intricate, complex suture lines, whereas the obverse side is light in coloration and has a smooth finish.
