This matched pair of Ammonite halves were obviously cut from a single, thin specimen. The exterior has remnant ribbing and a nacreous iridescence with granular cores. The cut and polished insides display the combination of Calcite-filled cavities, hollow chambers, and sediment-filled chambers, making it a beautiful offering.
