This attractive slice of lunar meteorite Ajdabiya 001 weighs 2.43 grams and exhibits a striking brecciated texture, with angular light-colored clasts set within a dark, fine-grained matrix. The polished face reveals a mix of lithologies in sharp contrast, while the edges and unpolished surfaces retain a natural, weathered appearance. Several clasts display subtle translucence under strong light, enhancing the specimen's visual interest. Classified as a feldspathic breccia, this material is believed to have originated in the Lunar Highlands. This distinctive specimen from the Moon presents an excellent opportunity to own something truly out-of-this-world.
