This highly textural example of the Gebel Kamil Meteorite weighs a stout 92.4 grams and is one very nice representation of the "shrapnel" of Iron Ataxite, first found in 2009. This meteorite fell some 5,000 years ago in Egypt, leaving a massive crater and a strewn field. This textural piece is comprised of Schreibersite and Kamacite. The sizable specimen has a rather dynamic shape and looks like what a meteorite should.
