This Ammolite specimen displays a spectacular "mosaic" pattern which is characterized with vivid green accented by the rarer blue and purple tones that are prized by collectors. The fossilized Ammonite shell remnant is also considered a gemstone - evidencing a highly iridescent and slick surface. This piece came out of the renowned Bearpaw Formation, in Canada, known for producing amazing Cretaceous material.
