Framed in the original duralumin frame, the front panel engraved 'Winner/M.A. Nearpass/Third Annual Goodyear Dealers Zeppelin Race/July-August 1931/This frame was used in the girder construction of the United States Airship 'Akron' built by the Goodyear Zeppelin Corporation'.
