PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE EL PASO COLLECTION
The lot comprising coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar, open creamer, wastebowl, and tray, lidded vessels with pomegranate finials, beaded trim to neck and base of each. Tray measures 18-3/4 inches high x 30-1/2 inches wide.
Note: The Mercury-1 mark indicates the set is of .950 silver purity and was intended for export after manufacture.
Condition Report*:
Some age-related cracking to insulators, dent to waist of wastebowl, burner pin loose and with some warping and may not be original to burner, bone finial to hot water kettle spout loose, bone handle to burner possibly reattached, insulator with losses and insulator pins replaced to coffee pot (handle is subsequently loose), light denting to burner body, light bending to bun feet of kettle stand, scattered pin dents, light dent at waist to covered sugar, teapot handle slight loose and with two replaced pins, apparent scratching and scuffing to tray ground inherent with use.
