Description
IMPRESSIVE TRIO OF AMETHYST MACAWS on IMPOSING ALBITE BASEArtist: Peter Müller
Stone Source: Brazil & Worldwide
This impressive work shows the genius of Peter Müller and speaks volumes about his talents. Three large Amethyst Macaws have come to perch on this beautiful "mountain" of a base before embarking on their next journey. As they grasp the Albite and Mica stone with their gold plated sterling silver talons, they gaze pensively into the horizon with their Garnet eyes. Each bird has a distinct position on the base which is composed of natural Feldspar and features Quartz inclusions. All three majestic Macaws have Agate beaks. One Macaw looks to the left with outstretched wings measuring 14.5 inches (36.8 cm) and is 17.5 inches (44.4 cm) tall. Another Macaw peers to the right, about to take off in flight, and measures 17.5 x 15 inches (44.4 x 38.1 cm). Finally the third Macaw, with closed wings, sits quietly to the side and measures 17.5 x 4.5 inches (44.4 x 11.43 cm). Overall, this massive sculpture measures an impressive 35 x 25 inches (63.5 x 88.9 cm) and sits on a custom plinth of blackstone.
