The single crystal of Elbaite is beautifully situated within a well-crystallized Quartz matrix, which is of a lovely quality in itself. The Elbaite has a beautiful pink coloration in the bottom ~2/3rds of the specimen, of which the color's border mimics the shape of the termination, reminiscent of a phantom. The top of the crystal has a perfect, dusky-green termination that stretches upward as the Elbaite rises from the surrounding Quartz matrix. All of the crystal is extremely gemmy and has a lovely vitreous luster, adding an overall vibrant effect to the specimen. Though they are not all that visible, there are possible repairs on the prism of the Elbaite.
