For a slice of etched Muonionalusta, the quality of this specimen is obvious. A sheen covers both sides of the metallic slab highlighting the incredibly intricate Widmanstätten pattern. The fibrous fractal patterns seem to alter and intensify as the slice is moved, and even the edge rind displays a silver rather than a rust hue. This rounded, triangularly shaped example displays exquisitely from either side with the "geometric series" of intersections compelling from any vantage point. This is one superlative slab of Muonionalusta Meteorite. A beautiful specimen with an arctic provenance, this outstanding slice was expertly prepared.
Overall Measurements: 6.50 x 6.34 x 0.15 inches (16.50 x 16.10 x 0.39 cm), weighs 541 grams
