This is a nice example of the striking red Quartz and Hematite from Jinlong, where the Hematite forms parallel bladed clusters between the euhedral clear Quartz crystals with the thin bright red iron coloration. There are a number of the Quartz crystals that are broken off, not unusual for this locality, but the aesthetics of the specimen are not affected.
