Once classified as an ungrouped Iron, the iconic Saint-Aubin Meteorite is now considered an IIIAB. The rare find was unearthed by farmers plowing a field and is rightfully known as the "Champagne of French Meteorites" in the collecting community. Presented on a custom, black metal armature, this exquisite individual example boasts sculptural shape, outstanding, shrapnel-like texture, and consistent gunmetal gray coloration. The metallic mass, weighing 2.2 kilograms (4.9 pounds), has lots of character and makes for an incredibly impactful display specimen as presented in its base. Collection number "STA 135" is painted on the edge of the piece in testament to its quality appeal.
