This brow horn from Triceratops, among the most iconic of all Dinosaurs ever discovered, exemplify the type of preservation known from the renowned Hell Creek Formation, in Montana, that dates to the end of the end of the Cretaceous, known as the Maastrichtian. This example represents one of the two great brow horns and evidences only some minor repairs. In good condition, this remnant of the quite popular variety of herbivorous Dinosaurs still gives a sense of the power that Triceratops would wield in defense.
