The 1990s finds in the famous Paprok region produced the signature "bubblegum" Elbaite crystals on matrix that are, to this day, one of the most sought after styles from Afghanistan. This example has, perhaps subjectively, perfect aesthetics: the combination specimen brings together smoky Quartz, deep purple Lepidolite, and of course a bright pink single Elbaite crystal, all arranged beautifully. The termination of the Quartz comes up to meet the nicely angled prism of Elbaite, which has a perfectly smooth, shiny flat termination. The custom milled base made for this specimen presents this piece at a perfect angle, but this specimen can be equally enjoyed with in-hand inspection to appreciate the varying lusters and colors that come together into a very artistic piece.

More Information: This specimen is in excellent condition, with one small restoration on the Quartz.
