While extremely well-preserved insects in a specimen of Amber are certainly enough for any such piece to be considered amazing, rare occasions will result in an actual activity being memorialized for all time in such hardened tree resin. The ancient diorama in this material from the Dominican Republic, which is well known for producing spectacular examples of Amber with inclusions, features a couple in the form of a Queen Ant and a Male Drone caught in the act of flagrante delicto. While this piece of Amber is not large, weighing less than one single gram, what its inclusions represent is certainly something worthy of attention. The bonafide conversation piece is one most unusual and unique example of included Amber.
