This odd-looking, but very compelling, fossil specimen consists of a broad section of jawbone from a Woolly Mammoth with two molars in situ still in the mandible of the elephantine beast. An "Ice Age" representation of note, the monstrous example did require some additional "secondary" repairs on the already restored piece. The brownish bone provides a sculptural host for the pair of teeth with nice detail and light tannish coloration; this offering has a context beyond the usual, singular examples of prehistoric Mammuthus primigenius dentition out of Alaska. One impactful Pleistocene fossil, this is a guaranteed conversation starter in any room or environment. The rustic and rugged offering measures 20 inches (50.8 cm) across its massive form.
