This incredible fossil is sure to inspire awe for many reasons including its form, its size and its purpose. This is a large manus "killing" claw from a Spinosaurid Dinosaur and is over 5 inches (12.7 cm) long and has the pronounced curvature to be expected of such a terrifying appendage. The golden-white specimen has the characteristic groove in the center of the claw core. The superlative fossil has been repaired, which is often the case with such fossils that are in multiple piece when found, and there appears to be some patches of restoration as part of the preparation of the fossil for display. As claws are inherently rarer than the teeth and bones given the number of each from any particular Dinosaur, this is an uncommon specimen. From the famous Kem Kem Beds of Morocco, this is an impressive claw with excellent shape, curvature, and limited repairs.
