The present work was a private commission after an interior book illustration by Donald M. Grant for the The Dark Tower: Gunslinger series novel by Stephen King.

Condition Report*:
Unlined canvas. Under UV exam, a thick streaky varnish that fluoresces green makes prior restoration difficult to discern. 4 inch spotted vertical line of inpaint along center left edge. Pinhole size abrasion in the upper left quadrant. Moderate surface dust. 9 inch vertical scuff along left edge. Discolored varnish.
