A Tubular Jade Bar Pendant
Mesoamerica, c. 200 - 850 AD

Lustrous variegated green jade with a high polish, carved with four wide bands raised on the long tube, drilled from each end for suspending as a large pendant to a necklace. In very good condition aside from a repaired clean break 2 inches from one end.

More Information: Broken and repaired, with glue line visible 2 inches from one end. Blacklight shows a foreign substance near the repaired clean break.
