This grouping consists of four rather rustic examples of Fossil "Brittle" Starfish. The rocky matrices are quite varied as are the individual varieties - Asteriacities, Salteraster, and Ophiopinna - but it actually may be the provenance that makes this collection so compelling. Each of the specimens has an original label card from Geological Enterprises, Inc. out of Ardmore, Oklahoma well-known to serious collectors.
