Davide Salvadore is from a family of Venetian glass workers dating back to the 1700s. His practice combines traditional Italian murrine techniques with a range of interests and inspiration from African art, music, and fashion. He has collaborated with venerated glass houses such as Venini, Barovier & Toso, Nason & Moretti, and La Murrina. Salvadore has also worked with many museums and organizations including The Corning Museum of Glass, New York; Pilchuck Glass School, Washington; Toledo Museum, Ohio; and Pratt Fine Arts, Seattle, among others.
