The paintings by Lorser Feitelson reproduced here are examples of stages in the development one of the artists of the Ankrum Gallery as exemplified in the exhibition "Of Time and the Image". In Mr. Feitelson's case the examples begin with "Absinthe Drinker" 1917 and bring us to the present, the most recent painting having be completed May 9, 1965
