A German Partial Gilt Silver and Hardstone Chess Set on a Carved Wood Table, circa 1970Marks: 925

Condition Report*:
The chess set with pin dents to upper edge, dents to feet (does not impair stability), the king and bishops with scattered areas of repair to decorative elements, fine polishing and overall wear commensurate with use and handling; the figures are marked 925 to feet, the chess set although unmarked XRF tested .950, the table with two small nicks to a leg's edge, and otherwise in good and ready to place condition.
