A Walter Brind Silver Teapot, London, 1772
Marks: (lion passant), (crowned leopard's head), W·, R
11-1/4 x 7-3/4 x 4 inches (28.6 x 19.7 x 10.2 cm)
718 grams (23.09 troy ounces)

The teapot is engraved with a shield displaying an oak tree proper, its trunk and branches spreading symmetrically across the field, surmounted by a coronet of comital rank; below, a scroll bears the Latin motto Sub Robure Virtus (Virtue Beneath Strength).
