Villiaumite is very rarely found in collections as a faceted gemstone because until 1976 it wasn't even found in sizes large enough to facet. The opportunity to acquire this strongly orange colored rectangular cut gemstone, of eye clean clarity, is as rare as its existence in collections. This particular Villiaumite was faceted by John Bradshaw of Coast-to-Coast Rare Gems in Nashua, New Hampshire. A note of caution: don't get it wet, as it is water soluble - so no licking!
Measurements: 12.55 x 8.80 x 5.99 mm, 5.69 cts.
