Good Amazonite specimens composed of more than a couple of crystal are tough to find, chiefly since Amazonite likes to shows up as scattered crystals and not so much as conjoined groups. The aesthetics of this specimen are outstanding - looking for all the world like a pair of wings. Additionally, color of Amazonite wanders all over the place with the best, like this one, showing dark color with a high degree of consistency and excellent luster. Some crystals are incomplete and there is one repair - not at all unusual for Colorado Amazonites. There is no matrix and the bottom side shows two labels: the first, an inventory number from Collector's Edge is "TP96" and the second merely notes that it has been "repaired". Comes with custom, acrylic base.
Overall measurements: 5 x 3 x 2 inches (12.7 x 7.6 x 5.1 cm).
