Herja Mine, Baia Mare, Maramures Co., Romania
A radiating Stibnite group from Romania with unusual pointed terminations and a satin luster that is unusual for the species. This very aesthetic and dynamic specimen is remarkably well preserved given its radiating habit. There is minor damage to some crystals but this does not detract from its sculptural impact. Overall measurements are 4 1/2 x 7 1/8 x 4 inches and there is a custom labeled base. Ex Victor Yount collection.
