While Emeralds from other parts of the world have their merits, it is no small secret that Emeralds from Columbia are some of the most coveted for the mineral variety for their intense color (which is created via traces of chromium). This is an older and outstanding piece, presenting several superb, interlocking, parallel Emeralds that nearly ascend the entire length of the specimen. Each of the crystals is transparent with a striking green color that stands nicely against a brilliant white backdrop of Calcite. This piece is in excellent condition.
