5300 Bench, East Pit, Chino Mine, Near Bayard, Grant County, New
Mexico.
This fine native copper specimen is comprised of multiple spinal twinned crystals radiating in a geometrically precise arrangement. There is an exceptional sharpness to these crystals that along with exquisite luster and patina, makes this a very significant specimen despite its compact appearance. It was collected in June of 2001. It measures 2 ¾ x 1 ¾ x 1 inch. An exceptionally fine specimen for the discerning collector. Custom acrylic base has been made. Ex Dave Bunk Collection.
