This attractive meteorite slab with a pleasing irregular shape and captivating saturated color represents an uncommon, stony meteorite. This example of Casilda is classified as an H5 Chondrite and weighs 456 grams featuring a fine polish over both sides. The interesting note about the material that was originally found in 1937 in Argentina is that a second piece was found in 2000 which tested to match the first one. This example is rich brown in hue with numerous attractive visible speckles throughout its smooth faces.
