Alan Bean Signed "Ocean of Storms" 8x10 Photo

This black and white 8 x 10 photograph is signed by astronaut Alan Bean, the fourth man to walk on the Moon, and is titled "Ocean of Storms" which he included above his signature with the words "Apollo 12" below it in rich blue ink. The mysterious photograph showcases the landing site also known as Oceanus Procellarum which became a backdrop for the Apollo 12 mission. Astronaut Bean was instrumental in a quest to pinpoint lunar landings with the Apollo system and in collecting rock samples resulting in a key number of discoveries regarding lunar geology. This highlights the dynamism of that area on the Moon.
