Presented at the center of the specimen and cradled by a contrasting wreath of black Chert is a sizable, gemmy clear crystal of Topaz. The Topaz is completely colorless and commands the display view with a respectable width of 4.5 centimeters. Most of the specimen has a smooth, almost glassy, surface texture, a result of the clean cleavage habit of Topaz. While not technically crystallized, this specimen has great luster and a unique combination. This piece comes with a custom base.
