Scattered across a Calcite-rich matrix are several well-formed botryoidal spheres of Goethite, reaching up to 1.8 centimeters in diameter. The Goethite exhibits a muted velvety luster and displays warm rusty-orange to deep brown tones, with a few of the spheres partially revealing the Goethite's interior via small crevices. Surrounding the Goethite is a glittering bed of minor to microcrystalline Pyrite cubes, which catch the light and provide a brassy-yellow contrast to the piece. A single prominent Calcite crystal protrudes from one end of the matrix and fluoresces a vibrant pink hue under shortwave UV light.
