This is a "wow" meteorite, with an undeniable combination of incredible surface textures, phenomenal condition, and exceptional size. This Campo del Cielo weighs a robust 16 kilograms (35 pounds) and is a striking specimen, with a sublime shape, as the intensely cratered piece is glorious, featuring twists and turns to its regal form. The grayish-brown offering is full of "thumbprint" regmaglypts over its complex and rutty faces. The spectacular representation is a museum quality piece boasting superior aesthetics and incredible dimensionality. The mass is exquisite on all counts and is a truly superb Campo del Cielo. Any larger stable piece of the iconic variety deserves a look, but this one needs to be in a major display.
