Bunny Yeager burst onto the scene as a celebrity due to her unique combination of hustle, skill, and beauty. Coming from the background of pageantry and modeling, she was a self-promoter throughout her career. This trophy, which named her as Dallas Photo Fairs "Photo Personality of the Year" was one of her treasured possessions.

In the 1950s, she was a celebrity of national proportions, appearing on games shows such as What's My Line and To Tell The Truth and becoming a fixture of the photography community across the USA. This award, one of a trio she kept as personal mementos, was well-earned, and well-loved.
