Native Copper & Cuprite Bisbee Cochise County Arizona, USA
This seriously huge Bisbee piece not only has the cachet of the famous locality as its origin but also a magnificent mottled texture with a range of crystal habits from very fine to rather substantial. This is massive on all counts spanning over 10 inches (25 cm) in length, as well as width and weighs a robust 16.5 pounds (7.5 kg). A gorgeous pelt of fibrous Copper carpets much of the substantial surface area which gives this decorative specimen such major visual appeal. The combination of immense size with classic locality results in a museum-quality specimen with a historic origin.
