This fossil leaf from a Ginkgo tree has a very attractive "winnowing fan" shape. The fossil is in a mottled matrix rock of rich tan coloration, and the leafy botanical remnant features some striations over its umbrella foliage. The bonus of this specimen is a well-preserved stem coming down off the fan, making this a highly artistic offering. The example of Ginkgo cranei has been expertly stabilized for longevity and would make an excellent addition to any collection or interior décor.
