This is a fabulous Tourmaline specimen from Paprok that shows deep shades of blue, which border on black, throughout the majority of a single hefty, prismatic, well-terminated crystal. The deeper blue colors brighten towards the top of termination, quickly shifting to a more chilling, translucent teal hue. Contrary to the crystal's smoother cap, each of the side faces are heavily striated, accenting the Tourmaline's glassy luster to give the piece a flashier appearance. Over the left side of the specimen is a patch of smaller Tourmaline crystals that are almost fully encased in a white druse and accompanied by minor associations of Quartz and Lepidolite. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
