This beautiful, well-crystallized Rose Quartz comes from the Pitorra claim, which is known for producing specimen-quality Rose Quartz. While Rose Quartz is a popular mineral, especially in the world of lapidary works, crystallized examples such as this are relatively uncommon. The Rose Quartz crystals are presented across a white Quartz matrix with Muscovite associations. Along the outer edges of the specimen, the Rose Quartz creates a nice ridge of terminated points that have an extremely glassy interior with a richly saturated pink hue. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
