Splendid Wulfenite practically smothers the top side of this specimen with hundreds of terminated, elongated crystals (to 1.8 centimeters), each complemented with a lustrous sheen. Characteristic of the locality, the Wulfenite has a rich butterscotch color that is met with darker orange-brown zoning at the center of the crystal. Underneath the Wulfenite is a cabinet-sized gossan matrix that gives the crystals an earthy brown to rust-orange backdrop.
